I have many passions in life, too many interests for the standard 24-hour day. Here, I’ll gab about two passions that illuminate my soul: Writing and Running. When I’m not doing either, I’m sure to be seeking adventures with my two children and one husband, or cleaning the house. For the record, I’ll call anything my passion if it gets me out of housecleaning.

The more I train for half marathon races, the more I recognize the similarities between running and creative writing. Each activity makes me feel alive, challenged, passionate, tortured, proud and in pain -- sometimes all at the same time. While I write my debut novel, I'll be training for the next race, scheduled for October 2013. Which will I achieve first? Visit often to find out.
